Well well, I'm still alive! But I have pretty much given up on this thing for the summer. I have been too busy working full time, and then having a butt load of computer problems. Anyhoo! In case you were in a coma, the Cubs traded Alex Gonzalez, Francis Beltran and Brendan Harris to Montreal in a 4-team trade and ended up with Nomar Garciaparra! I don't think that any Cubs fan believed it when they first heard the news! Cuz I sure didn't...I was one of those who, when they heard it on the post-game show, flipped to ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN NEWS, jumped on the Internet and made some phone calls. But it was indeed true, and I can't tell you all how good it is to see that man in Cubbie Blue pinstripes! He's a magician at short, and the team has really gelled since he's come over. BRING ON THE PLAYOFFS! :)
