Cubs win in AZ


I think these guys are trying to give me a heart attack at the early age of 20! They scored 2 in the first, and were up 3-1 at one point, but could not hold Steve Finley down. He hit 3 solo homers, the last one coming in the 8th inning to tie up the game and deny Greg Maddux his 291st career win. Alex Gonzalez hit a solo shot in the 9th to put the Cubs up 4-3 and Borowski, although a little shaky, nailed down his 5th save.

Today's Daily Suck: LaTroy Hawkins. He served up the game tying homer to deny Maddux his win, so he gets it cuz I'm still a little pissed at him!

Today's King of the Diamond: Alex Gonzalez. This guy, in his Cubs career, has had a penchant for game winning homeruns. So this is #1 this season. Let's start keeping track.
